Samkor Systems ("we," "us," "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or services, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've written it in plain English — no unnecessary legalese.

1. What We Collect

When you submit a request to work with us, run a free audit, or contact us, we collect:

Contact information: your name, email address, and phone number
Business information: your business name and current website URL (if you have one)
Audit data: if you run a free website audit, we collect the URL you submit and the results returned (performance score, SEO score, mobile score)
Technical information: your IP address and browser type, collected automatically for rate limiting and security purposes

We do not collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is handled by Stripe — see their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

2. How We Use It

We use your information to:

Build and deliver your website preview and completed site
Contact you about your project, preview, or account
Process your payments through Stripe
Improve the audit tool and our service generally
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not use it for advertising outside of communications directly related to your inquiry or account with us.

3. Email Communications

If you submit your email address through our site or audit tool, we may contact you about our services — your preview, project status, or follow-up questions. Every outreach email we send includes clear instructions for opting out. You can also opt out at any time by:

Replying to any email from us with "STOP" or "unsubscribe"
Visiting samkorsystems.com/unsubscribe and submitting your email
Emailing us directly at [email protected]

Once you opt out, we will not send you further outreach emails. We may still send transactional messages related to an active account (billing receipts, password resets), which are not marketing communications.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate our site:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe stores and processes your card details. We never see your full card number.
Google Fonts — the fonts on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which means Google's servers see your IP address when you visit. See Google's privacy policy.
Railway — our backend runs on Railway's hosting infrastructure. Data is stored on servers in the United States.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days — subject to any legal obligations that require us to keep certain records longer (such as billing history).

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information
Opt out of marketing communications (see Section 3 above)
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
